Five In a Row

Monday is a big day at the Knox house, the boys and I get to start learning in a whole new way. We are going though a book called Five In a Row. Five In a Row focuses on the same children's book for five days with a different subject each day. For example, the first book will be The Story About Ping by Marjorie Flack. For five days we will read though the book everyday and go over a different subject each day. On Monday we will learn about Social Studies, Tuesday will be Language Arts, Wednesday will be Art, Thursday will be Math, and Friday will be Science. The boys have picked up on learning really fast and its fun when they enjoy it.

Time with my Mother-In-Law

We went and spent a day with my in-laws and had a wonderful time. I love the time that I get to sit with my mother-in-law and learn from her. We where talking about how my heart has changed so much over the past year on being a wife and mother and how much I enjoy it now. She gave me a card to put in my bible and I thought I would share it.

A man's house is his fortress in a weary world, where a woman's hand buckles on his armor in the morning and soothes his fatigue and wounds at night. Frank Crane

My prayer is that I can become this type of woman to my husband.

Cooking More

I have decided I would like to start cooking more at home. Tim and I signed up for a new menu plan called e-mealz. I went to the store tonight to get all the ingredients for the 7 new meals I am making this week. While at the store I realize I did not know what half the stuff was on the instructions. I called my sweet friend Ali and she walked me though the store (she has been doing this for years now) and I made it though the store in an hour. Tim is really looking forward to me cooking this week, so pray it all works out=)

1.Easy Chicken Meal
2.Hawaiian Chicken Pasta
3.Chicken and Rice Bake
4.BBQ Mini Meat Loaves
5.Panini Grilled
6.Marinara Sausage Subs
7.Apple Curry Chicken
