The other day Nathan asked me to come to his room so we could talk. I walked to his room and sat on his bed with him, he looks up at me with his big blue eyes and says:
Nathan- Mom I like to say "shut up"
Me- What did you say?
Nathan- I like to say "shut up"
Me- Where did you learn that?
Nathan- On TV.
Can I say no more Toy Story in the car!!!!

A little about us
Tim and I (Nicole) have been married since December 15, 2001. We are blessed with four children Nathan (8), Micah (6), Abigail (3), and Judah (2). My sweet husband is a pastor at Lifechurch.tv and I get to stay home with our children. We have a blast homeschooling our kids.

I know...you would think children's movies would be free from that kind of talk, but no. It exposes Brooke to things I do not, it's crazy what they put in movies these days!!

What a sweet teachable moment!
A friend of mine was telling me her little girl said, "vampire." The mom asked her where she learned that. She said, "Dora" Apparently it's a word in Dora book. The mom made the book disappear.
