Question

What do you do when someone says something mean to someone in your family? (I know what I want to do, and it is not the right thing)

Man I'm really starting to learn on this one. Being a pastors wife its so difficult sometimes. People don't always agree with the decisions they need to make. And it's surprising sometimes that people aren't afraid to tell me they are unhappy with him!! I think you have to be really patient, and most importantly support your man without being more of a burden on his ministry. A tough line when you just wanna punch them in the face :) Good question!

I usually smile at them say something kind and walk away. It baffles them. I would think that it would work well for you with your beautiful smile.

It isn't what they say or think that matters. Most of the time they are being hurtful because they want what you have and want to tear you down for it. It is what you know and who you are in Christ that matters.

Take a deep breath, exhale Jesus's name and SMILE.

Yep...a hard one.

I've learned to keep my mouth shut and pray. It sure is hard though.

Just happened to me the other day....
