Bite My Tongue

All that know Nicole Knox will know that I say what I think! It can be a good thing and a bad thing. If I think you look HOTT I will tell you. If I think you might want to change I will tell you (that one can be bad). Today my sweet friend Ali (she is nothing like me, thank you Jesus) and I were working out at the gym like we always do. Today we where walking back to pick up the kids from the daycare and this lady says:

Lady "You girls are late, you are in big trouble"

We both look at each other and say "we are?"

So we look at the book and we are 4 minutes late picking up the kids.

I say "I am so sorry we are 4 minutes late"

Lady "Well this is your warning!!!!"

I say "we are really sorry it wont happen again"

My point is we where wrong for being late, but I really wish she would have not YELLED at us like we were two 13 year old girls getting in trouble by our mom, in front of the whole gym!!!! I really had to bite my tongue on this one!!!

Stuff

Wendy and Rick's wedding was this weekend, Tim and I were both in it, so the the boys went to Grandma and Grandpas house. They had a great time! I love when they go, but when they come back it takes a week for them to get back to normal. Today has been a REALLY long day!!! (for mom and dad)

Tim and his sweet dad put up a new fence on Saturday and it looks great! I love that my man is a servant, he is so hott!!!

Last Wednesday at SWITCH we had 803 students. Can you say God is Good!!! God is doing great stuff, Tim and I love what we do.

Job vs. Joy

I just finished a bible study called Keeper of the Home. This study has rocked my world. They asked us two questions at the end of the study:

What did you think a homemaker was before the study?
What do you think of a homemaker now?

This was easy for me! Before I thought a homemaker was my job and I should be paid a lot of money for all I do for my husband, my children, and my house. Now I think of it as joy. I love that I get to serve my husband and my two boys. Tim once told me "Find something you love and you will never work a day in your life". I used to get mad that Tim loved what he did. Now guess what we both LOVE what we do. It is so neat how the Lord can change our hearts.

We also learned to be a homemaker does not mean you have to stay home. It means that you put your home before everything else. Looks a little like this:

Tonight we had Wendy and Rick's wedding shower. Wendy is one of my best friends she also works for my husband. SWITCH Last Night

Tim has been on a staff retreat for three days and got back yesterday before SWITCH. When Tim comes back from a retreat he is always really tired. Which most the time we both are since I am not good at the whole single mom thing and my husband rocks and helps me with EVERYTHING.

Before SWITCH we said "Lord we do not think there will be a lot of students tonight but please give us strength for the ones who are there." Well guess what? There where 522 students and 15 salivations!!!! Are you kidding me???? The week we are both not really thinking about SWITCH have not done much to prepare for it, God says "let me show you when YOU stop trying to do EVERYTHING on your own I will show you how big of a God I really am".
