Dancing with Nathan

Last night we where watching TV on the couch and Nathan looked up at me with his BIG blue eyes and said:

Nathan- Mom do you want to dance?
Me- I would love to, fast or slow?
Nathan- Slow!
Me- Do you want me to hold you or stay on the ground?
Nathan- I want you to hold me close and I sing a slow song to you.

My Husband

So last night at SWITCH I was talking with some of my sweet friends and I said something nice about Tim my husband. They started to laugh. I said what?? They said well we where just talking about you the other day and how you always talk nice about Tim. At first I was like oh I am sorry. But then it got me thinking. Why do I say nice things about Tim to people. Well its because its true!!!!! He is the best husband, father, and friend for Nicole. I wake up everyday and cant believe how blessed I am to be married to Tim Knox and how blessed my children are to have him as a father. I hope you feel the same way about your husband and if you are not married God will bless you with a perfect husband just like he did for me.

The Lake/June 2008

We went to our Life Group leaders lake house last week for a few days. We had a great time reading, playing games, swimming, and just being together.

Nathan started liking it once we started to going!

We are so blessed to have life group leaders that want to bless us with family time. Getting away with my 3 boys is just what a women needs!!!

Stuff

This past weekend my husband took off the WHOLE weekend plus Monday and Tuesday!!! We went to our Life Group leaders lake house with the boys and had a wonderful time. I love being Tim Knox's wife and Nathan and Micah's mom. (I will post pictures later)

Today we went to the Library and joined the reading program and we went to the park. Next, we took Tim to the church so he could get ready for tonight. Nathan said in the car:

Nathan- Mom where are we going?
Me- We are taking dad to work.
Nathan- Why? (his new favorite word)
Me- So he can make us money.
Nathan- Oh, well I want to go with him so I can make penny's.

We just both laughed!!! (we love making penny's)

Tonight is SWITCH and I cant wait to love on some teenagers and youth leaders. Tim and I really look forward to Wednesday night (we came back from the lake because we love it so much). SWITCH in the summer is a lot of fun, we are smaller and you really get to know the students and leaders.

Memorial Day

Today was a great day! Tim had the day off for Memorial day. We went for a walk to get breakfast, went to Pelican Bay to swim, grilled out at the house, and made smores to finish the day. The boys are tired and so are we!

This Weekend

This weekend my wonderful husband was on stage, our campus pastor Miles was out of town. Tim did amazing!!! I am so proud of the man he is. He is leading our family in so many ways.

We also did video worship with our Campus Worship Pastor Trent, that was really neat too. It is so awesome to think people all around the world can see what God is doing. Our God is so BIG and He can do wonderful things.

Just thought I would give it up for my sweet husband and the Edmond Campus Worship band. Thanks for doing what God has called you to do!
